Troubleshooting

Starting failure
Solution
Set the stop switch to the start position.
Adjust or replace the pawls.
Clean around the pawls.
Speak to an approved servicing dealer.
Drain it and use correct fuel.
Adjust the idle speed with the T screw.
Make sure that the spark plug is dry and clean.
Clean the spark plug. Check that the
electrode gap is correct. Make sure that the
spark plug is installed with a suppressor.
Refer to technical data for correct electrode gap.
Tighten the spark plug.
Replace the fuel filter.
Engine starts but does not stay running
Drain it and use correct fuel.
Speak to your servicing dealer.
Clean the air filter.
Replace the fuel filter.
Abnormal noise in gearbox
Replacing related parts in the gearbox.
Add grease.
