Alarm message
Calls attention to high-priority operating states and has therefore to be ac-
knowledged.
Alarm time
Time between the arrival and departure of an alarm message.
Area pointer
Required for data exchange between the TP and the PLC. It contains informa-
tion concerning the length and size of data areas on the PLC.
Arrival of a
The point in time at which a message is issued by the PLC or TP.
