The shields will protect the finish of the
extension during the rest of the installa-
tion. Once the installation is complete
these shields can be removed.
^ Peel off the backing from the tape on
the protective shields.
^ Stick the shields on the sides of the
chimney extension (see illustration).
^ Carefully ease apart the sides of the
chimney and slide it over the exten-
sion. Hook it behind the extension
and both retaining plates. Hold it high
enough to clear the top of the canopy
to avoid scratches.
^ Slide the chimney down so that it sits

at least / " (1 cm) inside the canopy

and adjust it as necessary.
^ Pull off the protective shields.
If the chimney is not tall enough an
optional chimney extension can be
ordered. See "Installation/Appliance
dimensions".
