Location Description
NEND A mismatch exists on the trail trace
identifier.
Suggested Corrective Action
1. Ensure that the local EXPSAPI, EXPDAPI, or both are set
correctly to match the ones transmitted from the far
end.
2. Ensure that the far-end transmitting Source Access
Point Identifier (SAPI) and Destination Access Point
Identifier (DAPI) match the local EXPSAPI and/or
EXPDAPI.
3. If the problem persists, verify the fiber connections for
add and drop connections.
Location Description
NEND An unequipped indication is received.
Suggested Corrective Action
1. Verify that the correct blade type is installed.
2. Check the channel provisioning and correct if
necessary.
Caution: The OSC must be active for traffic to be restored.
A failure of the OSC may keep traffic from recovering on a
span.
Location Description
NEND ZTP Boot failure.
Suggested Corrective Action
No action is required. ZTP-Boot retries auto-upgrade after 5
minutes.
Note: This alarms clears at the end of 5 minutes.
