Assembling Note: Platen springs should not be bent or turned over.

9.45 Platen

(1) Remove the Platen foam from the Platen.
(2) Remove the three Platen springs from the Platen.
Assembling Note: When mounting the Platen foam to the Platen, take care not to put
it over the Platen rib.
