Problem
• Pitting of the cooktop
glass
• Unit has no power
• Oven or racks are
stained after using
aluminum foil
• Surface is not level
• Oven is tipping

Cause
• If not removed immediately, sugary spillovers
(such as preserves, ketchup, tomato sauce,
jellies, fudge, candy, syrups, or chocolate) or
melted plastic or foil can cause surface pitting
of the cooktop. (Not covered by warranty)

2. Tripped breaker

• Remove the molten material
IMMEDIATELY with a metal
razor scraper.
• For safety, wear an oven mitt
or hot pad while scraping the
hot surface.
• Check power at main board
before calling for service.
• Match power cord type and
outlet type
• Never cover the oven bottom
or cover an entire rack with
materials such as aluminum
foil.
• If the foil has already melted
onto the oven, it will not
affect the performance of the
oven.
• Check with installer first
