Message Printing

When SVR-DS receives record messages of an event occurred, you can specify messages in
terms of the message type and print them out from the printer. Up to four printers per system may
be used to print histories.
There are the following functions for message printing.
(1) Alternative Printer Function
You can switch to an alternative printer when the specified printer fails.
(2) Filtering Function
You can restrict message printing by specifying message printing prohibiting event
conditions for related events when tag event conditions of process and system alarms and
guidance are met.
For message printing, the following items are registered.

: Bits in Alarm Occurrence State, Tag Representative Alarm
Monitor ON/OFF, bits for Alarm Monitor ON/OFF, DI Status of
digital tags, and Scan ON/OFF
: Specifies a print color and printing printer for each
message type.
