Adjustment procedure
Manual adjustment type


Hold the steering wheel and
push the lever down.

Adjust to the ideal position by
moving the steering wheel
horizontally and vertically.
After adjustment, pull the lever up
to secure the steering wheel.
Power adjustment type

Operating the switch moves the
steering wheel in the following
directions:

Toward the driver

Away from the driver
■ The steering wheel can be
adjusted when (power adjust-
ment type)
The engine switch is in ACC or ON

: If the driver's seat belt is fastened,
the steering wheel can be
adjusted regardless of engine
switch mode.
■ Automatic tilt-away & returning
function (if equipped)
When the engine switch is turned
off, the steering wheel is automati-
cally adjusted to a position that
allows driver to enter and exit the
vehicle easily.
When the engine switch has been
turned ACC or ON, the steering
wheel automatically returns to the
original position.
■ Automatic adjustment of the
steering position (if equipped)
