loopback code, and is in
loopback mode.
Front panel switch has put the
Controller into loopback
mode.

Corrective action
• Check for proper operation of external
site equipment.
• Notify far end.
• NOTE: The AIS LED is lit when the
All Ones Keep Alive signal is
received.
• Check for proper operation of external
site equipment.
• Notify far end.
• Configure T1 correctly.
• Check T1 / E1 cabling.
• Check T1 / E1 levels
• Check for T1 / E1 noise or crosstalk.
• Replace the Controller.
• Configure T1 correctly.
• Check T1 / E1 cabling.
• Check T1 / E1 levels
• Check for T1 / E1 noise or crosstalk.
• Replace the Controller.
• Notify far end.
• Push and hold the Sel / Loop switch
for 2 seconds. This action takes the
unit out of loopback mode.
