On-board software components
The pre-installed software components and their settings are optimally matched, so
that they are executable together on your system. This is verified in particular
through system testing and is ensured throughout the entire life cycle.
The following software components are pre-installed on the SIPIX SD ZN:

Video/audio collaboration app
•
SIMATIC PDM
Configuration tool for field devices
•
Tight VNC
Desktop sharing software
•
cRSP SSL VPN
Client for connection to Siemens remote platform
•
Registration at the Siemens Remote Platform cRSP (SIPIX SD ZN only)

Warranty
No changes or conversions may be carried out without the written permission of
SIEMENS AG.
If unspecified components are used, explosion protection is no longer guaranteed. It
cannot be guaranteed that externally procured parts have been designed and
WARNING
manufactured in a way that meets the load and safety requirements.
Before modifications or conversions, contact manufacturer and obtain approval. Only use
original spare and wear parts.
Note
SIEMENS AG assumes the complete warranty only and exclusively for the spare
parts ordered from SIEMENS AG.
In principle, our "General Terms and Conditions of Sales and Supply" apply. These
are available to the operator at the latest since conclusion of the contract. Warranty
and liability claims for personal injury and damage to property are excluded if they
are attributable to one or more of the following causes:

Improper use of the Tablet PCs.
•
Improper handling.
•
Not observing the instructions in the user manual and the brief instructions
regarding transport, storage, commissioning, operation and maintenance.
•
Arbitrary structural changes.
•
Incorrectly performed repairs.
•
Disasters caused by foreign bodies and force majeure.
