2.1.1

Assembling the AMM

1. Unpack the AMM.
2. Disconnect the BEA from the mains.
3. Detach the housing cover (1) and disconnect the
ground conductor from the housing.
4. Remove the cover plate (2).

For BEA with production dates before FD 2004-07, it
may be necessary to drill a recess for the protruding
screw for the pump bracket.
!
Take care not to crush or trap any connecting cables
on inserting the AMM.
5. Slide the AMM into the module and attach to the
back wall with self-tapping screws.

6. Use self-tapping screws to attach the AMM to the
base plate of the BEA.
7. Attach the connecting cables of the AMM to the
mainboard.

8. Connect the ground conductor to the housing cover
and fit the housing cover.

BEA identification

¶
Affix the following stickers to the BEA:
$
PTB sticker to right side of BEA housing cover
(Germany only, refer to information "200507_049"
in EDIS).
$
Sticker "Upgraded to BEA 350" to back wall
of BEA.
$
Sticker "Techn. data for AMM" to back wall
of AMM.
