PROFIBUS and Further Settings

The ProfiBus/Mode COM3 tab is divided into two segments:
• Select PROFIBUS Address
• Selection, if the COM3 interface is provided as serial interface at the
XCOM3 plug or is internally connected with the keyboard controller.

Select COM3 Connection
XCOM3 COM3 is accessible at connection XCOM3
Keyboard Controller COM3 is internally connected with the Keyboard
Controller to
- request the status of the M-Keys via the serial interface
(see section M-Keys in chapter 6) or
- reload firmware into the Keyboard Controller

Note: The following applies to all settings: The UPS service is
stopped. All changes will only be effective, when the PC is
restarted (switch off and switch on the supply voltage again).
