    If using, do so at your own risk, and follow the in- structions provided on the packaging. Any other applications may be dangerous. Miele cannot be held liable for damage resulting from in- correct or improper use or operation.
  • Page 8 Do not install or use a damaged tumble dryer.  Do not make any alterations to the tumble dryer, unless authorised to do so by Miele.  Do not connect the tumble dryer to the mains electricity supply by an extension lead. Extension leads are a fire hazard and do not guar- antee the required safety of the tumble dryer.
  • Page 9  If the electrical connection cable is faulty it must always be re- placed by a Miele authorised service technician to protect the user from danger.  The electrical safety of this tumble dryer can only be guaranteed when correctly earthed.

The manufacturer can only guarantee the safety of the appliance when Miele replacement parts are used.  To ensure the correct performance of the tumble dryer and to pre- vent the risk of faults and fire, it is important to carry out mainten- ance on a regular basis.

Fluff can clog the air channels, heating elements and ducting, which could result in a fire. Stop the tumble dryer immediately and replace the damaged fluff fil- ter.
