Playing a DVD on Other Equipment (Finalize) - RW - RW Video Finalizing is necessary when you play discs recorded with this recorder on other DVD equipment. When you finalize a DVD+RW, DVD-RW (Video mode), DVD+R, or DVD-R, a DVD menu will be automatically created, which can be displayed on other DVD equipment. - Page 36 z Hint You can check whether the disc has been finalized or not. Creating chapters in a title The recorder automatically divides a recording (a title) into chapters by inserting chapter marks at 5, 10, or 15-minute intervals during recording. Dubbing From a DV/Digital8 Format Tape to a DVD - RW - RW Video You can record a DV/Digital8 format tape onto a disc. The recorder controls the digital video camera.
