5.16.2 To disassemble the trimmer guard LiC/iC
1. Remove the 4 screws (A) and remove the motor
cover (B).

2. Move the trimmer guard (C) up the shaft. Disconnect
the connector (E). Remove the screw (D) and
remove the trimmer head. Remove the trimmer
guard (C) from the shaft.

5.16.3 To assemble the trimmer guard LiL, LiLX/
iLX, LiR, LiRX/iRX
1. Attach the trimmer guard attachment with the screw
(C).
2. Put the trimmer guard on the bracket (B) and attach
the trimmer guard with the screw (A).
