Place the aerial away from the unit for better reception. If the AM loop aerial and the FM aerial wire are placed near the AC power lead, interference may result. Direct playback: Just pressing the TUNER (BAND) button will turn on the power automatically. The radio station you were listening to last will be tuned in. When recording important selections, be sure to make a preliminary test to en- sure that the desired material is being properly recorded. During writing, the "TOC" display will flash. Once the "TOC" goes out, all editing changes have been recorded to the disc. Note: Storing the edited contents on the disc can be done after several pieces of editing have been finished. MiniDisc (digital input) that was originally recorded from a CD. This is a requirement of the SCMS (Serial Copy management System). Analogue recording of such a MiniDisc is possible using the analogue input.
