Decoding Illumination

Selecting Enable Decoding Illumination causes the decoder to turn on illumination every image capture to aid
decoding. Select Disable Decoding Illumination to prevent the decoder from using decoding illumination.
Enabling illumination usually results in superior images. The effectiveness of illumination decreases as the
distance to the target increases.

This parameter only applies in Decode Mode. Select Enable Decode Aiming Pattern to project the aiming pattern
during bar code capture, or Disable Decode Aiming Pattern to turn the aiming pattern off.
