Adjusting Iris and Master Black Settings

Settings for iris and master black (MB) are controlled using the Iris and Master Black
knobs on the RCP or the Iris and MB buttons on the touch screen (Figure 34).
Digital values for iris and master black settings are displayed on the touch screen.

Adjusting the Iris Setting

1.
Rotate the Iris knob clockwise to open the lens, or rotate the knob counter-
clockwise to close the lens.
2.
Alternately, select the Open button on the touch screen to open the lens one
increment, or select the Cls button to close the lens one increment.

Adjusting the Master Black Setting

1.
Rotate the Master Black knob clockwise to increase the black level, or rotate
the knob counter-clockwise to increase the black level.
2.
Alternately, select the Hghr button on the touch screen to increase the black
level, or select the Lwr button to decrease the black level.
