8.3.3 Installing a pRRU3902 on a Ceiling

This section describes how to install a pRRU3902 on the ceiling, such as the concrete ceiling,
when the ceiling has adequate load bearing capacity and installation space.
Context
If the pRRU3902 is installed on a ceiling, the temperature of the ceiling may increase by a
maximum of 30 degrees. Therefore, whether a pRRU3902 can be installed on a ceiling
depends on the ceiling material.
Procedure
Step 1 Determine the position for installing the pRRU3902 based on the construction blueprint and
the clearance requirements.
Step 2 Place the mounting bracket in the installation position against the ceiling. Then, level the
mounting bracket and use a marker to mark four anchor points. See
Figure 8-11 Anchor points on the pRRU3902 mounting bracket
(1) Ceiling
To prevent inhalation or eye contact with dust, take adequate preventive measures when
drilling holes.
Step 3 Use a hammer drill with φ6 bore to drill holes at the marked anchor points, as shown in
Figure
