Show Information

Show Information is the Projectionist Terminal default
appearance and automatically displays the status of the
Current Show Information following a successful login to
the SMS Projectionist Terminal. The Show Information
screen is comprised of two areas, the "Base Screen" or
View and the "information" pane where all menu selected
functions and information appears.

Note: The Base Screen or "View" or Frame appears on
ALL Projectionist Terminal screens.

Base Screen

The Base Screen area includes a Menu button, the Current
User information, and a Date & Time area along the top of
the screen. The Status Lamps & Selector Buttons buttons
along the bottom of the screen are also integrated with the
Base frame. These display warning indicators related to
the status of that hardware sub systems. Tap any of the
Status Selector Buttons to view the specific Status pane.
Show Information is the default screen for the Projectionist
Terminal and it is automatically returned to when no
terminal input is received for a time-out period. In the
Show Information pane (shaded in the above) you will find
the controls most often used to manage the show
presentation.
To access other screens form the Projectionist Terminal,
tap the Menu button and then tap the desired Screen Name
button. This is to insure that the Operator/Projectionist is
able to see the status of the Current Show irrespective of
what screen was most recently used.
To access the various Status Screens, tap the appropriate
button located at the bottom of the Projectionist Terminal.

You can also adjust the Time Zone for the Projectionist
Terminal should the setting not agree with the SMS Server
setting. To set the Time Zone, double-tap the clock in the
upper right-hand corner. The standard Windows® Time
Zone dialog appears. Tap to navigate and select your Time
Zone.
Note: In the Show Information pane (shaded in the above
illustration) you will find the controls most often used to
manage the show presentation.

View Show Status

You view the status of the current show in the Show
Information pane. To access Show Information, tap
anywhere in the Projectionist Terminal "Base" frame
when viewing any screen.
The central portion Show Information pane provides a
quick summary of the status of the current show and what
is being presented.

Show related information are; the Show Title, the Show
Current Position, and the Running Time/Remaining Time.
Additionally, information for the current Element is
displayed.
• Show Title
The Title of the show currently playing. The Show
Title is assigned from the SMS Control Terminal
during the building of the Show Playlist and is the
"reference" for the consolidation of the various
Content Elements included in the named show. When
there are instances of Content Elements associated
with the same Feature on the same Screen or, Content
Elements have different characteristics, e.g., MPAA
Rating, each variation comprises a different Show
Playlist and is identified by a different Show Name.
