Ferrite Core for Power Cord: The ferrite cores are used to shield the cables from
interference. When connecting a cable, open the ferrite core and clip it around the
cable near the plug as shown in the figure.
A Maximum distance between the ferrite core and the end of the cord inserted in

the TV: 6~8 inches (15~20 cm)
B Maximum distance between the ferrite core and the other end of the cord
x
inserted in the AC outlet: 3/4 inch (2 cm)

An administration fee may be charged if either
–
(a) an engineer is called out at your request and there is no defect in the product
(i.e. where you have failed to read this user manual)

(b) you bring the unit to a repair centre and there is no defect in the product
(i.e. where you have failed to read this user manual).

The amount of such administration charge will be advised to you before any work or home visit is carried out.
