tor could result in hazardous condi-
tions such as poor handling, loss of
control, or fire hazards.
Because the motor is very heavy, spe-
cial equipment and training is required
to mount it safely.

If the engine starts in gear, the boat can
move suddenly and unexpectedly, pos-
sibly causing a collision or throwing
passengers overboard.
If the engine ever starts in gear, the
start-in-gear protection device is not
working correctly and you should dis-
