Color temperature and white balance
Color temperature is one of the properties of light. The unit
is Kelvin (K) and 0 K is equivalent to -273℃. The table
shows the relation of the color temperature of the source of
light, the kind of the lighting and the weather condition. The
color temperature is not directly related to brightness. It
becomes blue when the color temperature is high, and it
becomes red when lowering. Human eye has adaptability
for color of light, so changes in color are not sensed even
with changes in illumination. However, a camera reproduces
color temperature differences faithfully compared to direct
viewing by eye. In order to revise the difference of such
color temperature, white balance correction (adjustment)
becomes necessary.
In this camera, white balance can be adjusted with
automatic tracking mode(ATW), preset mode(AWC) and
MANUAL mode.
Factory setting is ATW mode(ATW RANGE : NORMAL).
White balance is corrected in 2500～8000K.

Remote operation of setting menu

The operation of menu setting switches on rear panel of camera
can be done by remote. Confirm the plug is properly wired as
indicated in the figure and connect it to the rear panel Remote
connector. Do not connect anything to the unused Pins.
Keep the distance between the remote plug and external key
switches to less than 2 meters. Disconnect the remote plug
from the camera Remote connector when not using the key
switches.
