Overheat protection for STANDBY output depends on the built-in overheat protection in the 3-
terminal regulator.
Overheat protection is intended for detecting abnormal ambient temperature. It does detect
abnormal temperature due to overloading, but the detected high temperature may exceed the
parts temperature.
