The SIMpad SL4 can establish a GSM data link with an appropriate GSM-phone card
(PC-Card) and the driver software running on the SIMpad operating system (see
5.1.1).
Another possibility is to use a GSM mobile phone connected to the SIMpad SL4 via
IrDA link or serial link.
HSCSD allows the channel bundling of up to 4 GSM time slots. This gives a maximum
bandwidth of approximately 40kbps.
