Forcelle e ingranaggi selezione marce

Ispezionare visivamente le forcelle selezione marce, ogni forcella
piegata deve essere sostituita. Una forcella piegata causa difficoltà
nell'innesto delle marce e permette il loro disinnesto improvviso
sotto carico.
Controllare con uno spessimetro il gioco di ogni forcella del cambio
nella scanalatura del proprio ingranaggio. Se il limite di servizio
viene superato da uno qualunque dei tre ingranaggi, determinare
se si deve sostituire l'ingranaggio o la forcella del cambio misuran-
done lo spessore "S" e la larghezza "L" della scanalatura dell'ingra-
naggio.

Larghezza scanalatura ingranaggio nuovo: L= 4.250÷4.320 mm.
Spessore pattino forcella nuova: S= 3,95÷4,03 mm.
Gioco tra forcella e ingranaggio nuovi: 0,22÷0,37 mm.
Limite di servizio: 0,5 mm.

Gear selector fork and gearing

Carry out a visual inspection of the gear selector forks; any bent
forks should be replaced. A bent fork will make gear changing
difficult and can cause the gear to disengage without notice under
power.
Use a feeler gauge to check the clearance between each selector
fork and the groove on its gear. If the prescribed wear limit is
exceeded for any one of the three gears then it is necessary to
establish whether the gear or the selector fork it so be changed;

this can be done by measuring the thickness "S" and the width "L"
of the gear groove.
Width of the gear groove (new): L= 0.167÷0.170 in.
Thickness fork slide (new): S= 0.155÷0.159 in.
Clearance between fork and rear (new): 0.00866÷0.0146 in.
Wear limit: 0.0197 in.
