Inserting & Removing Battery
If Battery is not inserted into
handset, insert it as follows.

Remove Battery Cover
Battery Cover
. Use notch to lift Battery Cover.
Push up Battery Cover along
edges to remove it.

Insert Battery
. With logo side facing up, align
Battery terminals with contacts.

Replace Battery Cover
. Align dents on both sides of
handset with Battery Cover tabs,
then press down shaded areas of
Battery Cover.

Confirm Battery Cover is
closed properly
. If there is a gap between handset
and Battery Cover, firmly press
down Battery Cover.
. If Battery Cover is not closed
properly, debris may get caught
between gasket and base, allowing
ingress of liquid/dust.
Removing Battery
. Power off, remove Battery Cover, then
lift Battery as shown.

■Battery Cover Cautions
. Do not apply excessive force to
Battery Cover; damage may result.
. To maintain water/dust resistance,
close Battery Cover properly.
. If Battery Cover is damaged, replace
it with a new one. Use of damaged
Battery Cover may cause electric
shock, battery corrosion, etc. due to
water seepage.
