Preparations
Connecting to the side conduit hole
The cables are set up at the factory to pass through the bottom conduit hole. If
you want to use the side conduit hole, perform the following steps:
1
Remove the dome casing.
Loosen the four fixed screws of the dome casing using the supplied wrench
and lift the dome casing.

Remove the conduit hole cover.
3
Disconnect the cables from the connectors, and pull them out from the
bottom conduit hole. Then insert the cables through the side conduit hole.
Remove the protection sheet around the cables.
4
Connect the cables to their respective connectors.
5
Pass the cables through the guides as shown in the illustration to secure the
cables.
6
Attach the conduit hole cover that was removed from the side conduit hole
to the bottom conduit hole.
Notes

If the bottom conduit hole is dirty, the conduit hole cover cannot be fixed
firmly. In this case, moisture may leak into the casing and this may cause a
malfunction. Wipe off the dust with a soft cloth, and fix the conduit hole cover
firmly.

Seal the joint part of the pipe/cover with silicone sealant, etc., to prevent
moisture from getting inside the casing.

ˎ
When you install the camera on a wall lengthwise, make sure that the side
conduit hole is pointed down towards the floor to prevent moisture from
getting inside the casing. (-1)

Use a pipe/plug with a thread length of 12 mm (
not damage the camera. (-2)
Installation
WARNING

ˎ
If you attach the camera at a height, such as the wall or the ceiling, etc.,
entrust the installation to an experienced contractor or installer.
ˎ
ˎ
If you install the camera at a height, ensure that the installation location and
its material are strong enough to withstand a weight of 15 kg (33 lb 11 oz) or
more, and then install the camera securely. If they are not strong enough, the
camera may fall and cause serious injury.
ˎ
ˎ
To prevent the camera from falling, make sure to attach the supplied
fall-prevention rope.
ˎ
ˎ
If you attach the camera to the ceiling, check periodically, at least once a year,
to ensure that the connection has not loosened. If conditions warrant, make
this periodic check more frequently.
Deciding the Installation Location of the Camera
After deciding the direction in which the camera will shoot, make the required
hole (ø50 mm [2 inches]) for the connecting cables using the supplied template.
Then decide the two mounting hole positions to install the bracket.
Mounting screws
The supplied bracket is provided with twelve ø4.5 mm (

Concrete wall: Use anchors, bolts and plugs suitable for concrete walls.
Junction box: Use screws to match the holes on the junction box.
WARNING
The required mounting screws differ depending on the installation location and
its material. If you do not secure the camera with the appropriate mounting
screws, the camera may fall off.
Installing the Camera
1
Install the supplied bracket on the ceiling or wall.
Refer to "Mounting screws" for screws to be used.

Fix the supplied fall-prevention rope to the camera unit and the ceiling or wall.
Fix the rope with the supplied Screw M4 × 8 to the hole for the rope on
the bottom of the camera unit.
Fix the rope to the ceiling or wall.
When you install the camera on a wall, feed the rope through the wiring
slot.

Attach the camera unit to the bracket with the supplied two screws.
The screws have a fall-prevention mechanism. The screws inserted into the
screw holes of the camera unit do not fall even if you turn the camera unit
upside down.
Attach the camera to the bracket with the wiring slot aligned with the "Δ"
mark on the bracket.

Rotate the camera clockwise until it clicks.
Support
Note
If you cannot use screws in a ceiling or wall, or if you want to make the camera
less conspicuous, use the YT-ICB140 in-ceiling bracket (optional) with which you
can mount the camera on the ceiling.
For this model, install the camera in position on the both sides of the bracket
YT-ICB140. Refer to the Installation Instructions of YT-ICB140 for detailed
information.
Adjusting the Camera Direction and Coverage

Loosen the fixing screw for adjusting the vertical position of the lens on the
camera head.

Adjust the camera to turn the lens in the desired direction.
You can adjust the lens position by panning ( ), tilting ( ), or rotating ( ).

Tighten the fixing screw for adjusting the vertical position of the lens on the
camera head to fix the vertical position of the camera head.

Use a torque of at least 2 kgf·cm.

Loosen the top of the zoom lever and move it to the right or left to adjust the

angle of view.

When you have set the zoom lever to the desired position, tighten it to fix the
angle of view.

Loosen the top of the focus lever and move it to the right or left to adjust the
focal length.
When you have set the focus lever to the desired position, tighten it to fix the
focal length.

Repeat steps 1 to 5 until the camera direction and coverage are determined.

If you adjust the camera head angle without loosening the fixing screw for
adjusting the vertical position of the lens on the camera, an internal part may
be damaged.

When adjusting the angle, be sure that the TOP mark on the camera head
section faces the ceiling. If the camera is installed with the TOP mark facing
the floor, the image will appear upside down.
ˎ
ˎ
When the camera is installed on the wall, the camera itself may appear in
the output image. This is normal. In this case, adjust the angle to solve this
problem.
Attaching the Dome Casing
Attach the dome casing to the camera unit.
Align the four screw holes on the dome casing with those on the camera unit,
and tighten the four screws (with a torque of at least 10 kgf·cm) with the
supplied wrench to secure the dome casing.

The position of the dome casing is adjustable. If the safety cord impedes
installation, release it temporarily from the hook.

Make sure that the safety cord does not get caught between the dome casing
and the unit casing.

Mur en béton : utilisez des ancrages, des boulons et des chevilles pour murs en
béton.
Boîte de jonction : utilisez des vis s'adaptant aux trous de la boîte de jonction.
AVERTISSEMENT
Les vis de montage requises seront différentes en fonction du lieu d'installation
et des matériaux. Si vous ne fixez pas solidement la caméra avec les vis de
montage appropriées, la caméra risque de tomber.
Installation de la caméra

Installez le support fourni au plafond ou sur le mur.
Reportez-vous à « Vis de montage » pour savoir quelles vis utiliser.

Fixez le câble anti-chute fourni à la caméra et au plafond ou sur le mur.
Fixez le câble à l'aide de la vis M4 × 8 fournie au trou réservé à cet effet
situé au bas de la caméra.
Fixez le câble au plafond ou sur le mur.
Pour installer la caméra sur un mur, faites passer le câble par l'encoche de
câblage.

Fixez la caméra sur le support à l'aide des deux vis fournies.
Les vis disposent d'un mécanisme anti-chute. Les vis insérées dans les trous
de vissage de la caméra ne tombent pas, même si vous retournez la caméra.
Fixez la caméra au support en alignant l'encoche de câblage avec le
repère « Δ » du support.
Tournez la caméra dans le sens horaire jusqu'à ce qu'elle émette un clic.
Remarque
Si vous ne pouvez pas utiliser des vis au plafond ou sur le mur, ou si vous voulez
rendre la caméra moins visible, utilisez le support de montage au plafond
YT-ICB140 (en option) qui vous servira à installer la caméra au plafond.
Pour ce modèle, installez la caméra en position sur les deux côtés du support
YT-ICB140. Pour plus d'informations, consultez les instructions d'installation du
YT-ICB140.
Réglage de la direction et de la zone couverte par la caméra
