  • Page 27 EMX3000 INSPECTIONS A. INSPECTION OF MIXER SECTION PREPARATIONS • Unless otherwise specified, the signal to be applied should be 1kHz, -70dBs sine wave and the signal source impedance should be 150 ohm. Also, the load resistance at each output terminal should be of the following values.

  • Page 29 EMX3000 • In the state as described in 1 above, input the signal of the following level to MIC IN of CH1 and turn on each AFL switch. Then check that the output as described in [Table 2-5] is obtained at C-R/PHONES OUT (L, R).
  • Page 30 EMX3000 DISTORTION FACTOR • In the state as described in 1, check that the distortion factor when +14dBs output is obtained at each output terminal is 0.1% or less (except for REC OUT and INSERT OUT). • In the case of C-R/PHONES OUT, set the 12 o’clock point of the level control to the Norminal position and the master fader control to 5 on the scale.

  • Page 32 EMX3000 10 PROTECTION CIRCUIT • With a signal input to POWER AMP IN (L), clip the output waveform of the 10Hz signal and check that the protection circuit functions to prevent the relay from opening. • Check that the protection circuit functions within 2 seconds to shut off the output when a 1Hz, Vp-p=10V(13.2dBs) signal is input and the output is restored automatically within 5 seconds when the input signal is stopped.
