The headset was specially developed for mobile telephones, which
support the Bluetooth Profile "Handsfree (HFP) and Headset (HSP)".
Further information about Bluetooth radio technology is to be found in the
operating instructions for your mobile telephone. Before you can use the
headset you must couple it with a compatible mobile telephone (Pairing).
• Check to make sure the mobile telephone is switched on.
• Programme the mobile telephone so that it searches for Bluetooth
devices. A detailed description of how to do this is to be found in
the operating instructions for your mobile telephone.
• Make sure that the headset is charged and switched off.
• Place the headset and mobile telephone so that they are not more
than 1 meter apart.
• Press and hold the Multi function button for 8 seconds until you hear
a short high signal tone and the LED status indicator lights up with
alternating yellow and blue lights. The headset is now in coupling
mode.
• Select the input "BT Headset" from the list of available devices in the
mobile telephone.
• Enter the pre-programmed code "0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 " " and confirm it to couple the
devices together. This mobile telephone now becomes the default
telephone for the headset. You hear a high double tone and the LED
status indicator blinks blue every 3 seconds. The headset is now in
standby mode.
• You can now use the headset.
Note:
If the coupling is not completed within 2 minutes switch the headset
off. The LED status indicator goes out and you hear a deep signal
tone.
