through the cabin& slots as they may touch
dangerous voltage points or short out parts that
could result in a fire or clcctric shock. Never spill
liquid of any kind on the set.
IJnpiug the set from the wall outlet before
cleaning or polishing it. Do not use liquid
cleaners or aerosol cleaners. l.Jse a cloth lightly
dampened with waler for cleaning the exterior
of the set.
Do not plocc the ~1 on an nnslablc cart, stand,
table or shelf. The set may fall, causing serious
injury to a &Id or an adult and serious danqe
to the set. USE only a cart or stand recommended
by Sony for the specific model of TV. No part of
the 'TV se1 should overhang any edge of the TV
cart or stand; any overhanging edge is a safety
hazard. An appliance and cart combination
should be mwed with care. Quick stops,
excessive force, and uneven surfaces may cause
the appliance and cart combination to overturn.
'Ihe slots and openings in the cabinet and in theback or bottom are
provided for necessary ventilation. To cnswe reliable operation of
the set, and toprotect it from overheating, these slots and openings
must never bcilocked or covered.
Never cover the slots and openings with
a
cloth or other materials.
: Never block the s&s and openings by
placing the set on a bed, sofa, rug or other
similar surface.
i Never place the set in a confined space, such
as a bookcase or builtGn cabinet, unless
proper ventilation is provided.
Do not place the set near or over a radialor
or heat register, or where it is exposed to
direct sunlight.
