Proper cabling is mandatory to ensure that a continuous power supply is
provided to each component in the event of a PDU failure. Each component
ordered includes the necessary cables to connect to the PDUs. The Hitachi
Data Systems personnel must refer to maintenance documentation for the
correct cabling techniques.
PDUs must be installed so their receptacles face the rear of the rack. This
positioning is required to enable the power cords to be successfully
attached.
