3. Other precautions
When closing the housing, check that the Plate Spring [28] and the Packing Cover [41] are securely
mounted to prevent them from being deformed.
Be sure not to omit the following parts.
• O-ring (P-6) [5]
• Plate Spring [28]
1. Apply Nippeco SEP-3A grease to the following parts.
• Gear [34] entirely (Especially the tooth surface)
• Both sides of Washer (A) [37]
• Both sides of the Orbital Cam [36]
• Both sides of the Balance Weight [35]
• Tooth surface of the Motor DC 14.4 V [20] (or the Motor DC 18 V [20])
• Shaft of the Pin D6 [27]
• Shaft of the Gear Holder [38] and the contacting portion of the Steel Ball D3.97 [50]
• Plunger [30] entirely
• Touch surface between the Plunger [30] and the Plate Spring [28]
2. Apply Molub-Alloy No. 777-1 grease to the following parts.
• Needle Bearing [33] entirely
• Inner and outer circumference of the Connecting Piece [32]
• Tapping Screws (W/Flange) D4 x 20 (Black) [6] -------------------------------- 1.96 ± 0.49 N
• Machine Screw (W/ Washer) M4 x 8 (Black) [46] ------------------------------ 1.96 ± 0.49 N
• Seal Lock Hex. Socket Hd. Bolt M3 [24] [25] ----------------------------------- 2.45 ± 0.49 N
• Hex. Socket Hd. Bolt M5 x 14 [53] ------------------------------------------------ 3.92 - 5.88 N
• Lever Bolt [23] -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2.45 ± 0.49 N
• Tapping Screw (W/Sp. Washer) D3 x 8 [10] ------------------------------------- 0.8 ± 0.2 N
