Setting Day/Time

The feature of presentation of day/time at the end of each message informs you
when a message came in. It also can be used as an acoustic clock.

Checking the Time

1. The answering machine is in standby.
2. Press the time key u (28).
3. The phone repeats the newly programmed day- and time-settings in following
sequence <Day> <Hour> <Minute>
Setting Day/Time
1. To set Day/Time, press the time key u (28) and the key rewind i (27) or the key
fast forward j (25). Or press the clock key longer than 3 seconds. You are
hearing the message EINSTELLEN TAG (SETTING DAY) and the phone will say
the day.
2. Press rewind i (27) or fast forward j (25), to set the day, while the days will be
said by the answering machine.
3. If you press the time key u (28), the last day the answering machine said will be
set. It occurs the message EINSTELLEN UHR (SET CLOCK).
4. Press rewind i (27) or fast forward j (25), to set the hours
5. When the answering machine is saying the correct hour, press the time key u
(28). the last hour the answering machine said will be set. It occurs the message
EINSTELLEN MINUTE (SET MINUTE)..
6. Press rewind i (27) or fast forward j (25), to se the minutes.
7. Did you hear the right minutes, press the time key u (28). the last minutes the
answering machine said will be set and the entire time setting will be repeated by
the answering machine.
Notes:
To skip the setting of a parameters, e.g. the hours, press the time key without
using rewind or fast forward.
After changing any parameter (setting of day, hour or minute), the seconds also
will be set back again, as soon as the user leaves the setting mode.
Don't press rewind i (27) or fast forward j (25) too fast, otherwise the time-
counter will skip the following message.

Setting the Ring Volume

When switching the answering machine on, the volume is medium.
Press the keys Vol + or Vol – to change the volume.
