Section 3 - Configuration
The DHP-W310AV lets you customize the wireless settings for your access point. This device allows you to expand your network so you can roam
around the house, while staying connected to the network the entire time.
Hybrid Router Wi-Fi
If you are connected to a hybrid PowerLine
Network Name:

see that router's network name (SSID) here.
Extended Wi-Fi
The name that appears in the list when you

As you walk from one area of coverage
in your home to another, your device will
detect the stronger signal and automatically

on a different network.
WPA/WPA2-Personal is more secure than
Security Mode:
WEP. Only use WEP if you have older devices
that are unable to use WPA. Use of TKIP/AES
security framework provides the optimum
mix of security and compatibility. Please

Choose a Wi-Fi Password that is strong. A good password uses both letters and numbers in unpredictable order. Examples
