Anynet+(HDMI-CEC) Function Anynet+ is a function that can be used to operate the main unit using a Samsung TV remote control, by connecting the Home Cinema to a SAMSUNG TV using a HDMI Cable. (This is only available with SAMSUNG TV's that support Anynet+.)

Getting started DVD (Digital Versatile Disc) offers fantastic audio and video, thanks to Dolby Digital surround sound and MPEG-2 video compression technology. Now you can enjoy these realistic effects in the home, as if you were in a movie cinema or concert hall. Home Cinema Systems and the discs are coded by region.
DISC TYPE AND CHArACTErISTICS This product does not support Secure (DRM) Media files. CD-r Discs ❖ Some CD-R discs may not be playable depending on the disc recording device (CD-Recorder or PC) and the condition of the disc. Use a 650MB/74 minute CD-R disc. Do not use CD-R discs over 700MB/80 minute as they may not be played back.

Connecting The Speakers Press down the terminal tab on the back of the speaker. Insert the black wire into the black terminal (–) and the red wire into the red (+) terminal, and then release the tab. Connect the connecting plugs to the back of the Home Cinema. Make sure the colours of the speaker terminals match the colours of Black the connecting plugs.
The resolution from the Component Output is 480i. If you use an HDMI cable to connect a Samsung TV to the Home Cinema System, you can operate the Home Cinema using the TV's remote control. This is only available with SAMSUNG TV’s that support Anynet+(HDMI-CEC).

Before using your home cinema The DVD Home Cinema's remote can be used to control Samsung TV’s. Plug the main unit's power cord into the AC power supply. Press the DVD rECEIVEr button to switch to DVD RECEIVER mode to operate the DVD Home Cinema.
Playback DISC PlAYBACK Load a disc vertically into the Disc Insert Slot. Place a disc gently into the tray with the disc’s label facing Close the compartment by pressing the PlAY ( ) button. Playback starts automatically. To stop playback, press the STOP ( ) button during playback.

Playback PlAYING MEDIA FIlES USING THE USB HOST FEATUrE You can enjoy media fi les such as pictures, movies and music saved on an MP3 player, USB memory stick or digital camera in high quality video by connecting the storage device to the USB port of the Home Cinema. Appendix CAUTIONS ON HANDlING AND STOrING DISCS Small scratches on the disc may reduce sound and picture quality or cause skipping. Be especially careful not to scratch discs when handling them.
