Unpacking the SnowThrower

Openthe top ofthe carton.

Cutdownthe corners on thefront of the cartonandfold downthe front side.

Pullthe snowthrowerout of the carton.Besurenot to damage the chute,or
anycables attached to thechute,whichisshipped underthe shroudonthe
backside of the carton.

Positioning the UpperHandle

Remove t he wing knobs andcarriage boltsfromthe top of the lower handle.
SeeFigure 1.It isnot necessary t o remove the shoulder s crewandflangelock
nut belowthe wing knobandcarriage bolt.
