Wireless Network Setup This section provides detailed instructions for setting up your printer on a wireless network. Loading Paper You can print documents and photos on a variety of paper types and sizes. For details, see page 20. 1. Open the paper support and pull up the extensions. 2. Open the output tray, pull out the extensions, and raise the paper stopper. Note: If you’re using legal-size paper, don’t raise the paper stopper. - Page 19 4. Cleaning the Print Head If print quality has declined and the nozzle check pattern indicates clogged nozzles, you can clean the print head. Print head cleaning uses ink, so clean it only if necessary. Note: You cannot clean the print head if an ink cartridge is expended, and may not be able to clean it when a cartridge is low. -

Checking Ink Levels If an ink cartridge is expended, you see a message on your printer’s LCD display screen: Note: You cannot print or copy when an ink cartridge is expended even if the other cartridges are not expended. Replace any expended cartridges before printing or copying. -

Note: We recommend that you use genuine Epson cartridges and do not refill them. The use of other products may affect your print quality and could result in printer damage. Squeeze the tab on the cartridge and lift it up. Dispose of it carefully. Do not take the used cartridge apart or try to refill it.
