5. MEDIA BROWSING
5.1 Clip browsing
When the clips registered in newsBYTE/QuickCutter are to be browsed, click on the TopBin
icon (See Fig. 5-1.) which is displayed on volume view.
The clips which are present in TopBin are displayed on list view of ClipCopy as (See Note 5
below.) shown in Fig. 5-2. (See Note 6 below.)
The BIN manager of the newsBYTE/QuickCutter application makes it possible to register
BINs in TopBin and other BINs in accordance with the hierarchical structure called the
BINTree.
To browse through the BINs in the BINTree, click on the ''+'' symbol (See Fig. 5-3.) to the left
of the TopBin icon displayed on volume view to display the BINs (See Fig. 5-5.) to be
browsed in volume view. Then click on the BIN icon which is now displayed.
On list view, the volume view BIN changes to an icon such as the one shown in Fig. 5-6.
Note 5: Only AV clips and sequence clips are displayed. No other kinds of clips are shown.
Note 6: The TopBin clip list is displayed also when the ClipCopy application is started up.
