If you press OK when the Sd{ Timer
option is highlighted in the Capture
menu, the Se'_-Timer sub-menu
displays. This sub-menu allows you
to turn the self-timer on and off.
When you set Se f-T met fo either On
or On 2 shots, the camera will take
a picture 10 seconds after you press the Shu#er Button all the
way down. If you set Set Truer to On 2 shots, the camera
will also take a second picture 3 seconds after the first picture
is taken.
Serif met is good for situations where you need to minimize
camera shake. For example, keeping the camera steady on a
tripod for a long exposure is easier if you use Sef-T met.
You can also use Sd{_Timer when recording video clips. The
camera will start recording video 10 seconds after you press
the Vdeo button. However, with the On 2 shots setting, the
camera only records one video dip.
The default Self-Timer setting is Off. The Sef T met setting
resets to Off after each picture is captured or video clip is
recorded, and when you turn the camera off. For information
