on the foil label on the rear of the air tank.
(3) The Manufacturers Number {ASME
Code Compressor only) is located on
the met a_ data plat e which is welded
onto the backside of the air tank. (This
data plate is painted the same color as
thetank.)
(4) The Engine Manufacturer's name is
located onthe frontof the engine.
(5) The EngineModel Number stamped on
top oftheengine.
(6) The EngineType which can be found
stamped on top of the engine.
Retain these numbers for future
reference.

Public Resources
Code, unless the engine is equipped
with a spark arrestor, as defined in section 4442, and maintained

working order.

  • Page 12 Release air pressure from the air tank. Loosen the top and bottom tube nuts and remove the outlet tube (Nos. 4 and 6). Unscrew the check valve (turn counterclockwise) using a socket wrench (No. 3). Check that the valve disc moves freely inside the check valve and that the spring holds the disc in the upper, closed position.
