The power oord of this appliance is equipped wi_ a
_ree=prong (grounding) p_ug.Use _is with a standard
bhree-slot (grounding} wall power o_let (Fig 12) to
minimize the hazard of electric shock. The customer
should have _e wail receptacle and circuit checked by
a qualified elec¢rician to make sure _e receptacle is
propedy grounded,

wish to use an adapter, a TEMPORARY
CONNECTION may be made,, Use,UL-list_ adapter,
available from most i_al hardware stores (Fig, I3},

iarg!es!ot in the receptac!e to assure a proper pola_ty

CAUTION: Attaching the _apter ground terminal to
the watt _ver screw does not
ground the a_lian_ unless the cover
screw is metal, and not insulated, and the
war is groun_ through the
house wiring. The custo_r should have
the circuit choked by a'quaiiF_
