Configuring your MusicCAST network
11 The MusicCAST client attempts to connect to
the MusicCAST server you select.
The following screens appear on the MusicCAST client on-
screen display in order:
MusicCAST server
12 The Client ID of the MusicCAST client you are
attempting to configure appears on the on-
screen display of the MusicCAST server.

13 Use
/ / / on the MusicCAST server remote
control to move the cursor to "OK" on the on-
screen display of your MusicCAST server and
press SELECT.
The MusicCAST server restarts its network hardware. This
will take five minutes at most.
The following screen appears on the on-screen display of your
MusicCAST client.
The Auto Configuration process is complete.

If the Auto Configuration process does not appear to work
correctly, refer to the troubleshooting sections in the
MCX-1000 and MCX-A10 owners manuals.

The MusicCAST server can only connect to seven MusicCAST
clients simultaneously, and does not attempt to connect to
other clients if it already has 7 clients registered. To remove
unwanted MusicCAST clients, use
cursor on the MusicCAST server on-screen display to a client
ID, then move the cursor to "CLR" and press SELECT. When
finished removing clients, move the cursor to "OK" and press
SELECT. Carry out Auto Configuration again to connect the
MusicCAST to other MusicCAST clients.
