If you fail to draw the correct unlock pattern on the screen after five attempts, you will be
prompted to wait for 30 seconds before you can try again.
Use a Screen Unlock PIN
1. Press >
2. Tap Screen lock > PIN.
3. Enter a PIN, tap OK, and then enter your PIN again to confirm it.

Using a Screen Unlock Password

2. Tap Screen lock > Password.
3. Enter a password, tap Continue, and then enter your password again to confirm it. Tap
OK.

Disabling the Screen Lock
1. Press >
2. Tap Screen lock, provide your security information, and then tap None.

Lock Screen Options

When the Screen lock is set to Swipe or Motion, or you have the With swipe lock option
enabled, set options for unlocking the screen.

2. Tap Lock screen options to configure these options:

Shortcuts: Slide the Shortcuts On/Off slider to the right to control display of app
shortcuts at the bottom of the lock screen. Tap Shortcuts to choose shortcuts to
display.
