Outline of the binder's mechanisms
Function
Transfers covers up to the binding posi-
tion. When the booklet finishing function
is not being used, passes paper supplied
from the printer over to the next device.
Transfers paper supplied from the sheet
inserter.
Applies glue to a stack of collated paper.
Binds stacks of paper with cover.
Cuts stacks of paper and transports fin-
ished booklets to the booklet receptacle.
Holds booklets.
Holds paper cuttings.
