advanced Face Detection Technology
chance to shine. The technology finds the face(s) in the frame
and gives them optimal focus, exposure, white balance and
flash. For some cameras with the DIGIC 4 Image Processor, it can
even detect face profiles, and Face Detection Self-Timer* waits
for the photographer to get in the shot before it takes the photo.

9 human faces in a scene (35 faces on select models).
