Product highlights
HDMI output
HDMI is a direct digital connection that can carry digital
HD video as well as digital multichannel audio. By
eliminating the conversion to analogue signals it delivers
perfect picture and sound quality, completely free from
noise. HDMI is fully backward-compatible with DVI.
Video Upscaling up to 1080i
With Video Upscaling you can increase the resolution of
SD (Standard Definition) video signals that DVD uses to
HD (High Definition) so you'll be able to see more details
thanks to a sharper, more true-to-life picture.The
resulting HD video output signal can be fed to an HD
display through HDMI (High-Definition Multimedia
Interface).
NSV™ Precision Video
NSV™ Precision Video is an embedded noise reduction
technology that eliminates existing noise inherent in video
signals, thereby providing a more refined picture viewing
experience.
Dolby Digital EX & DTS ES
Dolby Digital EX and DTS ES are 6.1-channel formats,
with the rear surround audio channel discretely encoded
into the Dolby Digital and DTS bitstream. The formats
offer enhanced spatialisation over the surround channels
for complete 360-degree sound localisation and surround
pans (e.g.: movement of sound in the surround channels
from one side to another).
Digital Audio Broadcasting
Digital Audio Broadcasting (DAB) is the latest in digital
radio technology. It allows you to enjoy your favourite
radio stations in crystal clear, near CD-quality sound.
What's more, you get an even wider choice of radio
stations and radio hiss caused by signal interference due
to obstructing mountains, high-rise buildings and weather
become a thing of the past. Since the DAB radio signal is
all digital, stations can also transmit text such as program
information, news, and sports scores, as well as pictures
and even videos direct to your radio set. Radio never
sounded so good.
UCD Digital Amplifier
The UCD Audiophile Digital Amplifier is a full digital Class
D amplifier designed to give the lowest output impedance
and the best audio measurements. With the
performance of a "zero feedback" amplifier, the UCD
Audiophile Digital Amplifier allows for audio performance
that will satisfy the most demanding audiophile.
Metal chassis & circuitry
The player features reinforced chassis by using extensive
bracing and shielding to reduce the negative effects of
stray EMI and vibration. Audio circuitry is constructed
with audiophile quality parts that are carefully selected
based on extensive subjective listening tests and backed
by excellent measurements results. The components in
the critical audio path are carefully chosen and matched
for superior audio performance.
Set-up via OSD
The On-screen display provides a simple and user-friendly
interface for maximum ease of use and setup of your AV
equipment.
