<Stop (or Start) Background Scanning>
Specify whether to stop/start scanning of data that is being performed in
the background.
<Refresh All>
All data will be rescanned, including the portion for which scanning has
already been completed.

8.1. Rescan SCSI
This command causes TWE to re-detect the devices connected to the SCSI bus.
8.2. Select Working Dir...
TWE temporarily creates working files in a directory, and you can use this
command to change the directory.
*If for some reason TWE terminates with an error, the working files will
remain. You may delete these or reuse them as necessary. (It may be possible
to open the files using TWE.)
*When changing the directory in which working files will be created, please
select a hard disk which contains sufficient free area and has a fast access
time. (For example, in order to create an Undo sound file when the entire
waveform has been edited, the Undo sound file will occupy the same amount of
space as the original sound file, meaning that you would need at least twice
the size of the original sound file.)
8.3. Preferences...
The Preferences dialog box will open, allowing you to specify the desired
Colors (of screen components), Shortcuts (shortcut key settings), and Others
(other settings).
Click the Colors, Shortcuts, or Others tabs located at the top of the dialog
box to select the desired panel.
Changes you make in the dialog box will take effect only when you click the
[OK] button. If you click the [Cancel], all changes you made in the dialog
box (including changes made in other panels) will be canceled.
If you click the [Initial Settings] button, the contents of the currently
