When using the Remo
remote sensor on the main video cassette recorder.
You should use the Remote control within 20 feet of the
VCR. Use within a 60 degree angle of the remote sensor.
This Remote control uses infrared rays. Extraneous fluores-
cent light, etc. on the infrared remote sensor of the video
cassette recorder can cause operational errors. Therefore,
the video cassette recorder should be placed where it wi II
not be subject to direct fluorescent light.
NOTE:
This Remote control unit (RB-926) is capable of operating
the N EC TV receiver/monitors shown to the right.

ing manual carefully and completely.
If you use this remote control with a television model marked
with an asterisk (*) the TV!VIDEO button will operate the
VOLUME MUTE function. All other available remote features
on the television will operate normally.

INSTALLING THE BATTERIES

Remove the battery compartment cover
on the back of the remote unit in the
direction of the arrow.

Insert 2 "AA" size batteries into the battery
compartment correct polarity directions.

Replace the cover.
Caution Concerning the Batteries
• Use only" AA" size batteries.
• Although this will depend on how frequently and to what extent
the remote control has been empolyed. the batteries should be re-
placed approximately once per year.
• Remove the batteries from the remote control when not using the
remote control for long periods of time.
• To prevent battery rupture and acid leakage. do not mix new bat·
teries and old batteries or batteries of different types. (For exam·
pie, do not mix normal dry cell batteries with alkaline dry cell
batteries.)
• If acid leakage should occur, carefully remove all traces of the acid
and replace the batteries with new ones.
• Do not short circuit the batteries, disassemble them, heat them or
throw them into a fire.
