(4) Setting the load during rebuilding (with the /LOAD option)
If you run the raidctrl command with the /LOAD option, you can set the level of the drive
writing load to be put on the system during rebuilding. If the /LOAD option is specified
alone, the current setting is displayed. You can adjust the load by changing the setting.
However, the lower the load, the longer it will take to complete rebuild processing.
Changes to this setting take effect after the equipment is restarted. The factory default
setting is for a high load (HIGH).
The following is an example of running the command with the /LOAD option:
C:\ >raidctrl /LOAD
Rebuild Load Level:HIGH
C:\ >
• To set a high load (HIGH): raidctrl /LOAD H
• To set a medium load (MIDDLE): raidctrl /LOAD M
• To set a low load (LOW): raidctrl /LOAD L
(5) Setting whether to enable BCC
If you run the raidctrl command with the /BCC option, you can set whether to enable
BCC while the system is online. If this setting is ON, BCC is enabled, and if it is OFF,
BCC is disabled. If the /BCC option is specified alone, the current setting is displayed.
Changes to this setting take effect after the equipment is restarted. The factory default
setting is BCC enabled (ON).
The following is an example of running the command with the /BCC option:
